Virginia Weather Band offers music for all seasons and all reasons—birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, weddings—we help set the tone for your special event.
We cover everything from Alison Krauss to the Rolling Stones while featuring two lead singers—Mark Troxell III and Beth Davis. They swap vocal duties and also perform wonderful duets together. With the rest of the band, there are multi-part harmonies on each song, creating a unique and powerful sound.
Virginia Weather features high-caliber musicians on a wide range of instruments. Band founder, Mark Troxell Jr., has been playing guitar for more than six decades. His son, Mark Troxell III plays percussion and harmonica (along with performing lead vocals). Grandson Ethan is a master of bass and keys. Lee Britt plays multiple instruments, including sax, bass, and guitar, along with providing high harmony. Other musicians often join us adding steel guitar, sax, mandolin, and dobro, just to name a few.
